Jenny Darcy co-director & Pre-Primary Lead
Jenny Darcy was born and raised in Boone. She graduated from Appalachian State in 2016 with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She went on to teach in 3rd grade in Greensboro and 4th grade in Wilmington; however, over time, she missed the mountains so much that she came back to Boone in 2018. In her free time, she loves playing games with friends and family, watching Science-Fiction shows, and playing with her dog, 3 cats, and 6 quail! Jenny first served as our Public School Enrichment lead, went on to lead Upper Elementary, served as Director of Mountain Pathways, and has now transitioned into one of our Teacher Leaders for the Pre-Primary classroom!
