The Mission of Farm Camp is to provide an intensive, weeklong sustainable farming and gardening experience that focuses on basic gardening skills as well as harvesting, processing, and marketing farm products.

Campers will learn creative problem solving skills, the fundamentals of a sustainable food system, and practical life applications of science, technology, engineering, and math through hands on experience. The goals of our program are simple: to establish a micro-farm on the Norwood House campus. It will serve children ages 9-12 years which fulfills a niche of much needed summer programming for this particular age group. Campers will serve community members by growing surplus food for the local shelter, The Hospitality House, and the Farm C.A.F.E.
