In addition to the ghosts and ghouls of Halloween you also must be afraid of a month full of numerous school commitments!!! BOoOOoOooOooO

I'm kidding of course. Though there are a lot of interesting and fun things planned for the rest of October at Mountain Pathways. Here is a little update from our large 3-6 classroom:

We are having a wonderful year in the large 3-6 class! Here are some thoughts about our field trip to Coffey's Orchard a few weeks ago.

"My favorite thing about our field trip"...

~"was getting apples & pumpkins and riding on the bus with Matt!" -Victoria

~"was the apple machine they used to polish apples & put them into different sizes". -Audrey

~"was the apple sign in the grass & eating apples". -Landen

~"was the corn maze & pumpkin patch". -Devan

~"was the story Jan read to us about apple pie". -Siah

Please join us Oct 15th for Parent's Morning in the Classroom!!

Mark your Calender:

School picture day has been scheduled for October 26th. The PTO has come up with a much easier system this year for purchasing individual and class photos. This year you will pay for a digital image taken by Kristian Jackson and Kelly Clark Keefe, with a written order form.

Many many thanks go to Kristie Evans and Julie Brittain and everyone else on the Autumnfest committee for their wonderful efforts in creating a successful and FUN fall festival. The rain held off and we pulled in around $800 for the school.
